What are Renal Care Kits?

Dialysis patients endure long durations of draining treatments. Our Care Kits are aimed to make their days a little brighter. These kits can include games, lotions, manicure sets, informational handouts, and much more. Along with delivering the kits, FOD members can visit the dialysis center and provide emotional support via playing games and conversing with dialysis patients. 

A Day in the life: Making Care Kits 

Follow Alaa’I, the FOD President, as she makes care kits and delivers them to an affiliated dialysis center. Usually, the kits are made by FOD members at our general meetings at our respective campuses. However, with the pandemic, we have not been given that opportunity. We hope that we will be able to meet in person soon!
